Information Architecture & User Experience
Informational Architecture and Design are the blueprints of a site’s structure. Everything from content modeling, to interaction behavior, to business outcomes can hinge on the architecture of a site. Pairing this blueprint with extensive research and discovery can help ensure success from front to back.
Data Visualization & Branding
The way a brand is portrayed and the way data is presented can have major impacts on the success of design projects both on and off the web. I’ve worked with teams from all over the world to develop good brand visualizations, engaging data representations, and unique logos to improve engagement and awareness.
Development-Friendly Mindset
Having experience in multiple different front-end and back-end languages helps ensure that I can effectively and concisely communicate design concepts and goals. These skills also assist in being able to seamlessly transition static designs from Figma or Sketch into clean code.
There and Back Again - My Story
I was born and raised in a small town in south-west Colorado. Throughout my life I’ve had a close connection to technology, and some of my personal hobbies include building computers, robotics, and Video Games. I moved to Utah to pursue schooling in Animation and Game Design, and have since found a passion in User Experience Design. In 2023 I made the move back to Colorado to expand my hobbies, and reconnect with my agricultural roots.
I led one of the world’s top 100 Vex Robotics teams from 2011 to 2013
I have a passion for cooking - especially Japanese and Korean foods
I have a Black Belt in American Kenpo, and studied Jiu Jitsu for 2 years
I am an avid admirer of classic cars, and own a 1967 VW Type 2 Bus
